Lola and the boy next
door is the second book from Anna and the French kiss, I was so excited to read
this book because I knew this would be another romance book with a cute love
story too it, but sadly I was disappointed because I didn't enjoy reading this
book as much.
It took me a while to
finish reading this book; just because I got bored halfway through that I just
left it to the side.
The book is about a
girl named Lola who loves dressing up in different costumes she wears wigs and different
costumes every day. Lola is happy and content with her life with her rocker boyfriend,
but when the bell twins arrive next door all past feeling return for Lola but
it takes her a while to realise that she is in love with Cricket.
There was just
something about this book which I just didn't enjoy, with this book I felt like
I couldn't really connect and relate to the characters and so this book just wasn't for me. I didn't really like the main characters and probably that’s the reason
why I didn't like the book.
I wouldn't read this
book again, but I can’t wait to read the next book in this series which is Isla
and the happily ever after.
